Migration to Huawei Cloud in Waves

Servers, databases and files moved with Huawei Cloud's own migration services, in waves with a pilot, hyper-care and hand-over.

A reference migration path on Huawei Cloud. The landing zone is designed first, a pilot proves the runbook, then parallel teams move applications in waves with the application owners. Server Migration Service, Data Replication Service and Object Storage Migration Service carry servers, databases and files; each go-live gets a period of hyper-care before hand-over to the maintenance team.

When to use it

  • Applications moving to Huawei Cloud from a data centre or another cloud
  • Many applications with short cutover windows
  • A customer team that will run the systems after the move

How NGT delivers it

Built from code, reviewed at a gate by an NGT architect, and handed over with runbooks your team can run.
